Ingredients:
- 1 lb (454g) melt-and-pour soap base (glycerin or shea butter)
- 1 tbsp peppermint essential oil (adjust for desired strength)
- 1 tsp spearmint essential oil (optional, for depth)
- 1 tbsp dried peppermint leaves (or 1 tsp peppermint powder for color)
- 1 tsp almond oil or jojoba oil (for extra moisture)
- Green soap colorant (optional, for a minty hue)
Instructions:
- Cut and Melt: Chop the soap base into small cubes and melt in a double boiler or microwave, stirring occasionally.
- Add Oils: Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the peppermint and spearmint essential oils, along with almond or jojoba oil.
- Color and Texture: Add a few drops of green colorant if desired, and mix in the dried peppermint leaves or powder.
- Pour: Pour the mixture into a soap mold.
- Set: Let it cool and harden for 4-6 hours
- Unmold: Once set, remove the bars from the mold and cut them into individual pieces.
